Hilo High Elementary Band at Haʻaheo

We were so proud to welcome some of our Haʻaheo band alumni back as they performed for us during Hilo Intermediateʻs annual Christmas Concert tour! Many of our amazing musicians from last yearʻs elementary band have continued their musical path at Hilo Intermediate, and are continuing to develop their considerable talents. Mahalo for coming back to share your fantastic musical skills with us! 

Haʻaheo and our sister school Kalanianaʻole are participating together in the Elementary Band program developed and led by the Hilo High School Band and their Band Director Kuʻulei Arceo. The program is sponsored by Hummingbird Music Education Program, as part of the Hawaii Science and Technology Museum and HW Complex District office. We are so lucky to be one of the schools chosen to participate in their pilot program!
