Principal's Message

Aloha Haʻaheo ʻOhana,

We held our open house on Wednesday, August 28th. I am pleased to report it was a major success with 155 people attending. Thank you to all the staff that made it possible, and all the families that joined us on that night!

It has been a pleasure to get to know the staff, kids, and community during my first week serving as TA Principal for Principal Sueoka. The school has shown incredible growth in the past few years despite many challenges showing the resilience of the school community. While there is much work to be done in the years ahead, I hope my time here provides the support everyone needs to keep the spirit of Haʻaheo strong until Principal Sueoka returns.

For the month of September, I am pleased to report that our bus route is now running! While there have been some issues with pickup times and dropoffs, this should be getting better as the new company adjusts to their routes. Please keep us informed of any issues with the bus as we work through this challenge.
