Hau2018aheo held a Family Literacy Night which was held on January 29th. Refreshments were sponsored by Title I with the chili & rice bowls and veggies sandwiches being donated by Kozmic Cones and Subway. Faculty & staff offered sessions that provided information and strategies to support and engage literacy at home. There were five sessions: 1) Questioning Strategies for Discussing Literature; 2) Get u201CBizzyu201D with KidBiz; 3) CSI - On the Trail of Text Evidence; 4) The World of Reading at Your Fingertips - Apps to Promote Literacy; and 5) A Space & Time for Reading with Your Child. The feedback responses were all positive. Thank you to all who participated!
